Then

  1. Open the disk image and drag Stalkrr onto the Applications folder next to it, then open it from Applications.
  2. First launch only: macOS will say it can't verify the app — Stalkrr isn't notarized with Apple yet. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.
  3. Follow the in-app setup: read the Terms, grant microphone and screen-recording access, choose your local models. Stalkrr downloads them itself and stays up to date on its own.

Check what you got

Every release ships with a signed appcast.json — the file the app's own updater verifies before it installs anything. It carries the SHA-256 of the disk image and of the zip the updater uses:

shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Stalkrr-*.dmg
